This Privacy Policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their ‘Personally Identifiable Information’ (PII) is being used online. PII, as described in U.S. privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our website.
What personal information do we collect from the people who visit our website?
When using our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address, phone number or other details to help you with your experience.
When do we collect information?
We collect information from you when you register, make a purchase, visit our website, or use certain other site features.
Third-party disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your Personally Identifiable Information to outside parties. The only exception to this is if our customer purchases Digitization Services for the purpose of converting a custom logo into a digital file for embroidery. Whatever information the customer includes in said logo has to be shared with our contracted digitizer in order to complete the design. Communication with said digitizer is done through email.
Third-party links
From time to time and at our discretion, we may include links to third-party sites on our website. These third-party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.
How do we use your information?
We use the information we collect from you to complete your order. This typically includes your name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and proof of payment through our gateway POS (Square).
How do we protect your information?
We take all matters of security very seriously. We have implemented a dedicated Secure Socket Layer (SSL) through our hosting server, Fat Cow, to our entire site. Make sure that our address shows up in your browser as “https” rather than “http”, indicating that your visit to our site is secure.
Our payment processing is done through Square. When you enter your credit card information at Check Out, it is done through our contracted provider, Square. We do not have access to your credit card number, or any information you provide to Square. Additionally, your credit card information is not stored by Sea Horse Stall Drapes. Square has its own set of privacy policies. Square maintains its own SSL encryption, which is PCI Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) compliant. It is continuously updated for security. You may visit their policies here.
Do we use ‘cookies’?
Yes. As information, you can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings. Since each browser is a little different, look at your browser’s Help Menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. If you turn cookies off, some of the features that make your site experience more efficient may not function properly.
Third-party disclosure
We use Square as our payment gateway for secure, encrypted credit card transactions. Our website is hosted through FatCow. We utilize Google Analytics for anonymous data collection for marketing purposes and to improve our customer’s site experience. Each of these third parties maintains their own privacy policy.
